This site (rizwankhalid.net) is a personal portfolio. It is built to collect as little data as possible — there are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. This page explains the little that does happen, why, and what your rights are.

01 Who is responsible

The person responsible for this site (the "data controller") is Rizwan Khalid. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact: contact@rizwankhalid.net.

02 What data is processed

a. Server log files

When you visit, the hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is a normal part of how every website is served and is used only to keep the site secure and running reliably.

• Legal basis (GDPR): legitimate interest in a secure, stable website — Art. 6(1)(f).
• Retention: kept for a short period by the hosting provider and then deleted or anonymised.

b. Contact by email

If you use the contact form, it simply opens your own email application with the message pre-filled — nothing is sent to or stored on this website's server. Once you choose to email me, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you write, and I use that information only to reply and to deal with your enquiry.

• Legal basis (GDPR): taking steps at your request and/or legitimate interest in responding — Art. 6(1)(b) and (f).
• Retention: kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted.

03 Fonts

Typefaces are loaded through Bunny Fonts, a privacy-first font service. According to its provider, Bunny Fonts does not log IP addresses, set cookies, or collect personal data, and no data is shared with Google.

04 Cookies & tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising. That is why you won't see a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

05 Service providers

• Hosting: Hostinger International Ltd, which operates the servers that deliver this site and process the server logs described above.
• Fonts: BunnyWay d.o.o. (Bunny.net), based in the EU, which serves the font files.

These providers process data only to deliver the website to you.

06 Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to:

• access the personal data held about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to processing;
• data portability; and
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

07 Singapore PDPA

If you are in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies. You may request access to, or correction of, the personal data held about you, and withdraw consent to its use, by contacting the same address above.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
